The vibe and aesthetic of this place were absolutely perfect! I couldn't resist snapping pictures everywhere because it was just so pleasing to the eye. The food? Oh my goodness, it was unbelievably delicious,each dish was a true delight! You could really taste the love and care that went into every bite…. On top of that, the service and hospitality were top-notch. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our visit. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way, and I can’t wait to come back and enjoy it all over again!

We traveled all the way from a distant city, and let me tell you, we were absolutely not disappointed! The Afghan food was simply divine. I tried the lamb chop, and it was a chef’s kiss moment for me! As someone who's quite picky, I was genuinely thrilled with every dish. Each bite was packed with delicious flavors, and the service was just as amazing. The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We had two birthday girls in our group, and they both had a fantastic time, especially our little niece, who absolutely adores her birthdays. The staff went above and beyond to make her day extra special, and her happiness was contagious! They even surprised her with a little treat that made her smile even wider. We were so glad we chose to stay and experience this wonderful place. It was definitely worth the journey, and I can’t wait to come back again. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting, like a cozy gathering with family, and the hospitality here is truly out of this world! Every moment spent there was filled with joy and laughter, and I’ll cherish those memories for a long time.

Just WOW!! From the moment I stepped into this Afghan gem, I felt like I was being welcomed into someone’s home. The warmth of the staff, the inviting ambience, created a comfortable enjoyable experience. This wasn’t just dinner—it was a cultural experience! The service was impeccable—genuinely kind, attentive and deeply knowledgeable about the dishes and their roots. They took the time to walk us through the menu, and make suggestions that made the meal feel even more personal. And the food and drinks… wow. Every dish was a masterpiece—layers of flavor, perfectly spiced, and clearly made with love. The mantu (dumplings) were packed with flavor, the kebabs were grilled to absolute perfection so juicy and tender. Even the sides, from the fresh naan to the tangy chutneys. You could taste the authenticity and flavour in every bite.The lighting, décor, and beautiful layout all work together to create a space that’s both elegant and beautiful, you can tell they put effort into this place! Their drinks are also so fresh and yummmmmy!!!! I truly can’t recommend it enough. I’ll be going back 100 times more!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 Experience! One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! I visited this Afghan restaurant in Hamilton, and the food was absolutely the best I have tasted in my life. Every single bite was full of flavor — like magic on the palate! You can truly feel the love and care put into every dish. The service was beyond excellent. I want to give a special mention to our server Jaafar — such a polite, kind, and professional young man. He guided us through the menu, explained every dish with passion, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. It truly deserves ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. I will definitely be coming back again and again!

I had an incredible experience at this Afghan restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and beautifully authentic. The food was absolutely phenomenal, every dish was rich with flavour, perfectly seasoned, and served fresh. You can really tell the chefs put a lot of heart into the cooking. What made the experience even more memorable was the outstanding service. Our waitress, Sabrina, was exceptional, she was so welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal without ever being intrusive. Her genuine kindness and professionalism truly enhanced our visit. Overall, this place is a hidden gem. Delicious food, wonderful service, and a cozy, authentic vibe. Best Afghan food! I will definitely be returning and recommending it to all my friends and family. Thank you again to Sabrina and the whole team for such a memorable dining experience!

5 Stars – Wonderful Service, but Small Portions I recently dined at armila, and overall, it was a lovely experience. The moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the host, and the service throughout the evening was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing, and the staff were knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance is elegant yet cozy, with tasteful décor, comfortable seating, and just the right level of lighting to enjoy a relaxed meal. The cleanliness was top-notch, including the restrooms, which I always consider a good indicator of a restaurant’s overall care. The food itself was delicious—beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. I had the chicken BBQ, which was cooked to perfection, and my companion enjoyed the same, which they described as rich and satisfying. However, the only downside was the portion size. For the price point, I expected a bit more on the plate. While I understand that quality often trumps quantity, the value didn’t quite balance out. I left feeling slightly underwhelmed in terms of fullness, which was disappointing given the otherwise outstanding experience. That said, if you’re looking for a fine dining atmosphere with exceptional service and exquisite flavours, Aemila is still a great choice—just don’t come too hungry unless you plan on ordering a few courses.

The restaurant is amazing, both food and staff. I was very impressed with the quality so ordered their catering the next week for a party with 40 guests. Food was just as great. It was abundant, tastefully and food arranged in a manner that was very pleasing to the eye. Everyone was impressed. A special thank you to Arfaat for ensuring that all our needs were met, our menu was exactly how we wanted it, and checking in the next day as well. A big thank you to Armila and team for making my event so great.
